Research output from the ChinaMed Project is meant to both advance scientific knowledge through academic publications, as well as to generate data-informed awareness for the benefit of the interested public.

The most recent academic contributions include special issues of Mediterranean Quarterly ("A Sea of Opportunities: China′s Growing Presence in the Mediterranean Region"), China & World Economy ("Eurasian Perspectives on China's Belt and Road Initiative"), OrizzonteCina ("Cina, Balcani ed Europa centro-orientale: prospettive regionali" and "La Cina e il Mediterraneo nella “nuova era” di Xi Jinping"). The signature open-access publication of the ChinaMed Project is the ChinaMed Observer, a monthly outlet collecting analysis and abridged translations of the most significant articles on Sino-Mediterranean relations published by Chinese and Mediterranean media.
